Instructions for attestation of documents from the Foreign Office
Documents must be verified by the relevant departments before being verified by the Foreign Office.

1. Nikah Nama ticket fee is Rs.10. Nikah Nama should be attested by the Secretary Union Council / Tehsil Municipal Officer / Chief Executive Officer Cantt. The bride’s identity card should be FRC in the husband’s name. In case of being a foreign national, bring a copy of the entry and exit visa. A marriage registration certificate is mandatory for a marriage certificate. A photocopy of a spouse’s identity card is mandatory.
2. Birth certificate its ticket fee is 10 rupees. Birth certificate issued by Secretary Union Council/attested by Tehsil Municipal Officer/Chief Executive Officer Cantt.
3. The ticket fee for the Computerized B Form is Rs.10. Computerized Form B should be issued by NADRA. The identity card must be attested by NADRA, with a stamp, before being verified.
4. The ticket fee for the character certificate is Rs.10. The character certificate should be issued by the concerned District Police Officer.
5. The ticket fee for a medical certificate is 10 rupees. Medical Certificate issued by Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital. And don’t include drugs.
6. The ticket fee for the death certificate is Rs.10. The Death certificate is issued by the concerned secretary union council along with the Nadrashna Khati card cancellation certificate.
7. The ticket fee for MBBS, PMDC, or Doctor related documents (Experience & Nursing Certificates, etc) is Rs.25 and must be verified by the Ministry of National Health Services Regulation and Coordination. Certified by Services, Regulation, and Coordination.
8. The ticket fee for divorce is 10 rupees. Divorce certificate issued by concerned Union Council/Arbitration Council. One of the two must come. If you are abroad, bring the signed authorization letter from the Pakistani embassy.
9. The ticket fee for a non-marriage certificate is Rs.10. Certificate of Union Council concerned secretary. should be on Union Council letterhead.
10. The ticket fee for driving license is Rs.10. Original driving license with NOC of license issuing office
11. School Leaving Certificate The ticket fee for School Leaving is Rs.10 for the 1st to 10th class and must be attested by the concerned District Education Officer.
12. Ticket fee for a private school leave certificate is 10 rupees. Certified by PIERA / DEO Private Education Regulation Authority.
13. The ticket fee for Matriculation is Rs.10 and the ticket fee for Intermediate (11th & 12th) certificates is Rs.10. And must first be certified by IBCC.
14. Ticket fee for BA and above and ACCA etc. credentials is Rs.25 and HEC attested by HEC / Certificate of Excellence.
15. The ticket fee for a one/two-year diploma is Rs.25.

16. The ticket fee for a year diploma is Rs.25. Experience certificate attested by IBCC must be attested by an officer of scale 17 with a name stamp. The registration number of your organization is mandatory.
17. The ticket fee for inheritance/guardian/certificate is Rs.60 and the inheritance/guardian/certificate must be issued by a civil judge.
18. The ticket fee for Mukhtar Nama issued by Pakistan is Rs.60. Mukhtar Nama Shatam Paper
    It must be written on (stamp paper) and the person/persons giving power of attorney must come. Mukhtar Nama’s Power of Attorney attested with a stamp bearing the name of First Class Magistrate or Civil Judge, stamp on the reverse side of the first page of the Power of Attorney.
19. Mukhtar Nama (For Pakistan from Abroad) (Rs. 60 Maximum Rs. 240) Mukhtar Nama should be attested by the Pakistani Embassy. In whose name Mukhtar Nama has been issued, he must come to the office with his original identity card. Foreign documents should be attested by the Embassy of Pakistan and, the Pakistani Embassy in their respective country.
20. The ticket fee for commercial papers is Rs.60. Commercial documents attested by the concerned Chamber of Commerce, Copy of Company Agreement (ii) Letter Chamber of Commerce Industry Islamabad (ii) NTN No. Authority letter on company letter pad. Company’s office card if the owner himself, visiting card, identity card original, and photocopy of all these.
21. The ticket fee for an affidavit is 25 rupees. The affidavit must be written on eighth-grade paper and must be attested by a Magistrate First Class and the person making the statement must be present. Affidavit, company agreement must be stamped papers must be on any type of translation firm or company letterhead certified with the stamp of First Class Magistrate Civil Judge.
22. The bank statement ticket fee is Rs.25. The bank statement must be attested with the name stamp of its respective branch manager, and then attested with the name stamp of any branch of the same bank from Islamabad.
23. The passport ticket fee is Rs.25. The Passport copy should be a color photocopy of the first two pages of the passport attested by the concerned passport office and attested with the name stamp of the officer of the passport office.
    Eligible persons to submit papers
    For confirmation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the applicant must come himself or a family member is authorized to submit the documents, whose relationship is proved by the National Identity Card. The gentlemen who come to get the documents verified are requested to prove their relationship. Mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin, aunt, uncle, aunt, uncle, maternal uncle, aunt, sister if married. Attach relevant documents to prove their relationship with the form.
    If someone is residing abroad, the signed authorization letter from the Pakistani embassy containing the required documents can be sent to anyone. An authorization letter is acceptable only for overseas Pakistanis, attested by their embassy i.e. Embassy of Pakistan or Consulate of Pakistan.
    All foreigners should bring a note verbale from their respective country’s embassy, passport photo, visa validity, residence certificate card, and student ID card of their university.
    Approved courier services for attestation of documents other than power of attorney and affidavit
    (Gerry’s, TCS, Leopard, OCS, UPS) can also be used.
    The courier fee is Rs 350 per case for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, and Quetta, and Rs 550 for other cities. The revenue stamp fee will have to be paid in addition to the courier fee.
