Commencing from Matric 01,03, 2024, the Matric exams for 2024 under BISE Lahore Board are set to begin, with 9th Class examinations starting on March 19, 2024.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, commonly known as BISE Lahore, serves as an examining body for secondary and intermediate assessments within Lahore. Every year, approximately 2 million candidates partake in examinations conducted by BISE Lahore, which currently has jurisdiction over four districts, including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, and Nankana Sahib. Although initially, at its establishment in 1954, its jurisdiction was considerably broader.
The Lahore Board administers examinations for Part 1 and Part 2, as well as Intermediate Part 1 and 2, encompassing schools and colleges across Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Kasur districts. Typically, the annual examinations for the BISE Lahore 9th class commence in February, with the issuance of the roll number list by the board well in advance. Subsequently, the SSC Part 2 examination usually follows shortly after the 9th class examinations.
