It is hereby notified & circulated to all concerned that PBCC vide its Notification No. SO (Boards) Misc / 2022-PBCC-3 dated 20-12-2023, regarding the matter ” Adoption of Improvement Policy as per Notification of IBCC at SSC/HSSC level” has decided as below;
Decision;
After feedback from the Controller (PBCC), and in the light of discussion, approved the duration of improvement from 02-Years to 04-Years. It was, however, clarified / reiterated that rest of the conditions for improvement will remain unchanged. For instance:
- The candidates will be able to improve up-to 04-years, subject to the condition that no higher degree has been attained till availing the improvement chances in SSC/HSSC.
- Candidate will need to submit an affidavit, of not attaining higher degree, if improvement chances are availed beyond two years of first attempt.
- The candidate will be able to appear in paper(s) of Part 1 or 2 or Practical. The highest marks obtained by the candidate will be counted toward final result .
- Old posting (previous result) will be taken from the last improved result which will carry the highest marks obtained in a paper after multiple attempts.
- In case, a candidate remains absent after applying for improvement, his old posting (previous result) will continue.
- Grace-Marks subjects(s) must be re-taken with improvement attempt and no Grace Marks will be allowed in case of improvement.
